At Groove Labs we believe that children represent the future. Giving kids access to the arts plays a pivitoal role in their development, yet access to art instruction for many children remains limited at best. To be part of the solution rather than just complain about the problem, Groove Labs will award monthly grants to qualifying kids. The program will provide for three (3) lessons from a qualified instructor in any artistic program. Choose from music, dance or art lessons. The rules are simple:
1) Age requirements from 6-16.
2) Economically disadvantaged and/or single parent child. We seek to help those that cannot afford art lessons. We may require income verification.
3) Statement of purpose from the parent about why the child wants art lessons
4) Identification of a teacher or program for the lessons.
5) All fees for lessons will be paid directly to the instructor who will be qualified by groove labs personnel. No monies will be transferred to parent or guardian in any case.
6) We will award one grant per month.
